Owain Glyndwr the iconic Welsh hero lived in the Dee Valley and is celebrated by the statue that majestically guards the square in the centre of Corwen. This walk looks into the history of this great man. Initially starting in Corwen this walk will take you to the fascinating places linked to Owain Glyndwr. Firstly you will look around Town then come back to our base at the sports pavilion for coffee. From here we will bus you to Owain Glyndwr's mound near Carrog. You will then go back into Carrog with the option of lunch in the Grouse Inn. From here you walk to Carrog station for a train ride back to Corwen. This walk includes an option to have lunch in the Grouse Inn at Carrog which offers a really great menu.

Both the train fair and the lunch have to be paid for by the participants

This walk will be a really great and enjoyable experience offering a shorter walk that is not strenuous and will suit most people. This walk will be a great walk to tke part in on the Sunday
